In order to improve at whatever you are doing in life, it is necessary to be able to identify where your weaknesses are and then take steps to solve them. In network marketing, this process is particularly important because you usually are working largely on your own, making it tough to figure out where your weaknesses are. With this in mind, I want to discuss a “Sales Flow” that I put together last week that outlines the important components that feed into your success in network marketing and how you can use it to get MLM Ideasfor your business. The way I have this set-up is to describe a plan for leading with value
using attraction marketing, but this works for all routes to success in this industry. Let’s take it step-by-step.
Show What You Have
This holds true for everyone and exists whether you market your business online or offline. In the typical network marketing plan, this is your list of 100 people that you know to call right away, or the people that you come across on the street, or any other way in your daily life. They may be your facebook friends, or people that you meet at conferences, or the leads that you purchased from an outside service. If you are marketing online, this might be the traffic that you drive to your website. Give some serious though to the type of person you are talking to considering if you the conversations you are having with people are not so good (i.e., the “tirekickers”). Once you have eyes on your prize, your presentation of the information is what determines your success in moving to the right to the next step.
Get Their Information
This is really an extension of the first part and if you are doing face-to-face stuff usually depends on how sharp your prospecting skills are. Keep in mind that if they are people that you already know, this may not be as important, but the next step certainly is. This step makes the most sense for online marketers where you really have to look at your system in place and whether or not your traffic is being converted into leads. You can evaluate this by looking at your campaigns and keeping up with how many people see your site relative the number of leads that you get. If you are doing a cold approach with someone in person, just keep it simple and get them onto a presentation.
Show How You Can Help Them
This is number one! No matter how you are recruiting people for your business, you absolutely have to be able to show them, in a simple way, how working with you will help them overcome their challenges. As we have discussed before, this comes down to asking questions, showing them your vision of your future and the asking them a closing question based on how they answered your questions.
Sign-Ups
The sign-ups then flow from that point and if you are leading with value, you still need to have a way to get people into your primary company, and this usually depends on how well you live up to the services that you say you will provide them. The other side is that you can recruit people that are already in your primary company to join you in your training system so they can improve their business as well!
I will be coming out with as series of webinars that target specific areas on this Sales Flow over the coming weeks
Have a great weekend!
